Library Journal does an annual review of all libraries in the country.  Of the 7, 513 libraries that are eligible, these are separated by expenditure range.  In the range we fit, we ranked #28 of 953 libraries.  This also gives us a high enough score to be a 3 star library (5 star range).  There were only 5 Wisconsin Libraries that were stared this year, and we are part of them.  The full article and library listings can be found at www.libraryjournal.com/ljindex2011

Great job on the 3 star rating, but we really just love the "noted & quoted" quote.

Noted & Quoted

The library card is a passport to wonders and miracles, glimpses into other lives, religions, experiences, the hopes and dreams and strivings of ALL human beings, and it is this passport that opens our eyes and hearts to the world beyond our front doors, that is one of our best hopes against tyranny, xenophobia, hopelessness, despair, anarchy, and ignorance    -Libba Bray
