Fines and Fees

            Patrons will not be charged for overdue materials checked out at our library, however their account will be charged for lost or damaged materials.

            A “lost item” fee will be charged to an account when the item has not been returned for 1 month.  This fee is calculated by the owning library based on the cost of the item lost. 

            A “Damaged/ Parts Missing” fee may be added to an account when an item is found to have been returned damaged, or without all the parts of the item.  The fee for the parts missing can be removed if the parts are returned in good condition.

            A “Charges- Miscellaneous” fee can be added for unforeseen problems, these will be dealt with on a case to case basis.
